Description

The Petzl ASAP’AXIS 11mm low stretch kernmantle rope with sewn termination and integrated energy dissipater is designed for use with an ASAP or ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester. The energy dissipater is integrated in the rope and meets the requirements for the European EN 353-2 standard for fall protection. The standard diameter ensures a good grip for easier handling. The EverFlex technology in the Petzl ASAP’AXIS 11mm guarantees great flexibility and consistent performance over time. The sewn termination features the STUART accessory that helps keep the connector in position to facilitate handling. Rope available in six lengths.

Detailed description

• Rope has sewn terminations and an integrated energy dissipater, thus meeting the requirements of the EN 353-2 standard when used with an ASAP or ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester
  
• In case of a fall, the tearing of specific stitching dissipates energy, to limit the impact force on the user
  
• Standard diameter ensures a good grip for easier handling
  
• Consistent performance over time:
  – construction with nylon core and polyester sheath, with specific weave
  – EverFlex technology ensures great flexibility under any conditions (water, dust, mud…), allowing it to maintain excellent handling and optimal functioning with devices
  
• Rope with a sewn termination that features the STUART accessory, to help keep the connector in position and facilitate handling
  
• Durable mesh sleeve protects the energy absorber from abrasion and allows regular inspection of the absorber
