WR003: Swift Water and Flood Rescue Technician
Who is this course for?
The Swift Water and Flood Rescue Technician course complies with DEFRA Module 3 content requirements. This training course is intended for specialist rescue personnel.
Due to the physical nature of the course, candidates must have a reasonable level of fitness, be able to swim confidently, and will be required to complete a self-declaration of fitness to train (if unsure, please contact us). Preferably, the candidate will have undertaken both a Swift Water and Flood First Responder certification and have completed a rope rescue technician course.

Delivery method and assesment
Lectures and practical elements. The course assessment is by short written test and a heavy emphasis on continuous practical assessment.
Valid for 3 years. Meets the requirements for DEFRA Module 3: Water Rescue Technician – Specialist Rescue operation.
