Working in or near water

RIG Systems has designed a – Working near Water Safely programme for those working in docks or near the water margins.  This course is a ¾ day (6 hour) programme and includes fall prevention in addition to unplanned immersion immediate action protocols: 

Modules include:

• Water safety awareness
• Selection and use of PPE
• Fall prevention techniques – work restraint
• Talk and Reach Rescues
• Throw rescues
• Physiological effects of cold water immersion

We also provides a bolt installation service fitting EN795A1 bolts to wharfs and jetties which compliment the fall prevention systems taught on this course.
