| PERSONAL
RETRIEVER |
Fast,
accurate and convenient - The Personal Retriever outperforms
all existing emergency intervention devices for a drowning casualty.
In just seconds this radical yet practical frisbee accurately
delivers 5.5kgs buoyancy on 30m of throwline even in strong
crosswinds.
Price: £92.30 (+VAT)
December 2005 - Life-Safer, Inc has officially received approval from the US Coastguard for the Personal Retriever™ as a Type V Personal Flotation Device and now an authorised substitute for Type IV 20" and 24" Orange or Red ring buoys on commercial vessels.
The “throw test” proved the Personal Retriever™ performed as well as or better at 60 feet than the 24” ring buoy did at 40 feet; a 50% increase in measured performance and rescue reach over the ring buoy.

| THE
RAPID DEPLOYMENT RESCUE CRAFT |
|
The Rapid Deployment Craft is
the safest, most durable, easy to use, rescue boat ever made.
It works in so many applications, that it is the only non-motorised
boat a specialist rescue team may need.
The RDC is a radical departure from the practice of drafting
recreational craft into rescue service. The RDC has extremely
rockered (upturned) ends which allow the rescuer to "drive"
the boat's bow or stern over the victim while the victim's
head remains above water at all times. It also allows a rescuer
to reach forward into a pour-over while still safely centred
in the boat. The floor is open at each end, allowing 2 entry
points. The freeboard height is only centimetres, enabling
a rescuer to easily pull a victim into the boat without the
use of elaborate cradles.
Carrying the RDC is similar to transporting a litter with
long handles, which, by the way, is one of its many uses.
The RDC will store in a 60cm cube, inflate in a heartbeat,
and can easily be carried by one person. Rig are now importing
the RDC direct from the US.
