About the Programme

IRATA certified programmes are intensive 5-day courses designed to ensure technicians are competent to perform a full range of rope access tasks from technician to supervisor.

The Level 1 programme covers the following:

• Pre-visual and tactile personal equipment checks
• Basic rope access and fall arrest drills
• Rigging and hauling techniques
• Rescue protocols
• Application of height related health and safety legislation

Level 2 and 3 programmes include more advanced rigging and rescue techniques coupled with risk assessments, equipment inspection and method statements.  For more information concerning the content of Level 2 and 3 programmes please contact us.

Assessment is undertaken on Day 5 by a qualified and independent IRATA Assessor.

Courses for 2010

Courses run Monday to Friday with assessments being carried out on the Friday and start on the following dates:

• 16th August
• 20th September
• 18th October
• 15th November
• 13th December

Fees

5-Day course with assessment fees : £600.00 plus VAT

3-Day requalification with assessment fees : £445.00 plus VAT
