RIG Systems provide a comprehensive portfolio of Ambulance Service focussed technical rescue programme accredited by the International Rescue Instructors Authority.

Multi-Agency Training For Multi-Agency Response

Members of the public injured in confined spaces, in swiftwater or at height may require immediate, advanced medical intervention. Typically this may involve gaining access to the casualty with the assistance of other Emergency Services, utilising their equipment and operating methods. For personal and casualty safety, Ambulance Crews should be aware of the inherent risks of these safety critical environments and the safe working practices of rescue operations. Crew members who are conversant and confident with the environments, methods and equipment, will require minimum support at the scene from the other Emergency Agencies, enabling them to focus without delay on pre-hospital emergency care.

Our Integrated Rescue Training portfolio embraces the crossover between rescue disciplines such as swiftwater, confined space, Urban Search and Rescue and rescue from height. This ensures consistency with rescue methodologies, compatibility with existing rescue equipment and operational realism. Rig ensures its clients have the best possible preparation for a multi-agency response, by training all the services involved to work together on any form of Technical Rescue.
